i. Resettlement and rehabilitation of 118 families during the ethnic
clashes that occurred in Kenya in 1992 and 1993.
ii. Distribution of relief items worth over USD 70,000 in 3 different flood
disaster occasions.
iii. Establishment and training of 6 functional community disaster
committees that are involved in warning, evacuation, counselling and
distribution of relief items.
iv. Mitigation of the effects of 2 different floods by constructing sand
dykes and planting trees along the river shore.
